AMD noob help

Hi all the way from Australia! 

Im looking at upgrading my old i5 7 series and I’m looking at maybe switching to AMD in light of the new RTX cards coming out.

 

So I need suggestions on wether to stay with intel and move up to the 10 series or move to AMD. Also need to know what mb to get and what processor, other than threadripper, to look at.

I think yes since some big tech channels are also from australia

I'm from morocco so I'm not lucky to have local retailer so not sure about it
