Is this PSU enough to my system?

SecretX

I am going to change my PSU eventually from a Corsair CX 450W (gray) to another more powerful PSU. I understand nothing about PSU and so I am here asking about maybe get this https://www.thermaltake.com/smart-700w.html

I have a Ryzen 7 2700, 16gb, 3 hds and a GTX 970 G1 Gaming. Is that PSU good enough in terms of quality for my build?

Thats a downgrade.....

Its wattage might be higher, but the quality of that unit is poor.

How much you spending and where you buying from?

Besides, why upgrade. The cx450 should be more than fine for that system

@GoldenLag
 I want to upgrade because of the 2nd pci conector, the cx 450w doesn't have it. I live in Brazil and my budget is around R$ 600.

You upgrading GPU from the gtx 970?

Because running with a single 6+2 pin is fine on a normal gtx 970 as it does not get even close to 225w.

This includes the MSI 970 gaming.

@GoldenLag

No I dont have a prefered retailer. The higher the wattage and quality, the better.

I went from a R7 360 to a GTX 970. But wait, will the GPU work with just one 8 pin connected? Don't I need to have both pins connected to the PSU?

Sure, I'll list the ones I use the most:

Looking at the offerings, there really isnt anything i can recommend.

Save your money and use the cx450. A single 6+2 pin is enough.

For 600 there really arent any upgrades from what you have.
