ASRock 970 is cheaper I think

Edit: Yep: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157394

Chipset's 970 though, and  Ialready own the one I showed, its just that I've heard 990FX boards are like the best boards for OC'ING?

If you want the 990FX, go with that bord or the ASUS board. IMO, I'd go with the Gigabyte one due to the black board.

Dude, I already said I OWN THE GIGABYTE Board. ;_; All I was asking was is the 990fx CHIPSET one of the best for overclocking?

990FX is the best chipset of overclocking.

Also the UD3 posted is the Rev 4.0 version that is much improved compared to the earlier versions of the UD3.

Rev 1.0= Didnt have LLC

Rev 1.1= Has LLC but had issues with heat in the VRMs.

Rev 3.0= Doesnt have the ability to turn APM off and still has issues with VRMs.

Rev 4.0= Has a new larger heatsink that helps the overheating and throttling issues with a much improved power delivery system.

That board is horrible: 25% DOA rate, bad power delivery and bad heatsinks. I wouldn't put an 8350 in that, maybe an 6300 at stock top.
