the LG has an IPS panel. that means you will get better colors and stable colors no matter the viewing angle. it also seems to use a bit more power (95W).

the AOC uses a VA panel. those are typically pretty quick but not that color accurate and more dependant on viewing angles.

i would probably choose the LG monitor if both came in at around the same price. also i personally like the design of the LG more but thats just tase i guess ;)

just take a look at the brands product sites. under specs aou shoul dbe able to compare them pretty good.

Keep in mind these reviews aren't brand new, if you can only watch one video watch the AOC one but crux would probably be that the LG is a better monitor but more expensive, AOC lacks some polish but has good specs for the price. VA (the AOC) has a bit of smearing with dark transitions so if the smoothest gaming experience is what you're after the IPS LG panel is better but whether it's worth the extra money is up to you.

I think you may be confusing VA and TN here?

What I mean is that TN usually has poor color and viewing angles whereas VA has good color, deep blacks, but some dark level smearing with fast movement on screen. Viewing angles with VA aren't usually a problem but not quite as good as IPS.
