Corsair 2100 7.1 Skype sound

Hi when i put my 2100 headphones into 7.1 anyone that i am talking to someone on skype it sounds echoy i know that's not really how to spell it lol but any help with this matter would be great. maybe there's a better program for talking that docent have this problem. i would like to mantain the sound of 7.1 without having to suffer with annoying sounds from my mates.

its simulated 7.1 surround sound it's meant to do that with voices on skype, change it to 2.1 and the issue will be fixed.
