That is just like saying AMD is more specialised for workstations.

 

Would a 10900K with an RX 570 gpu be any faster than an R5 3600 with the same gpu ? There are lots of factors when determining what is best for a certain situation. If the op planned to game at 4K for example then there is no advantage either way as you would be mainly gpu bound.
