So I was looking to buy a laptop for School/College so long term and Gaming things like;Minecraft, Ark, GTA V. I understand that those games take a lot of computing power to run so I don't need a laptop that runs them at 120fps (if that's even possible on a laptop) but something in the 800$CAD would be nice. Oh and nothing that runs Chrome OS

When buying a laptop, especially a "gaming" laptop, pick two: fast, cheap, or portable.

Highly recommend you don't get a gaming laptop if you want...well, something that will be good as a laptop.
