I am new to PC building game. And I ask for help about my issue.

I cannot change my monitor's refresh rate in the advanced adapter settings it is stuck to 60hz even though it is advertised as a 75hz monitor (Nvision XC24S). what should I do to change it. It has only VGA and HDMI ports.

My GPU is a RX 570.

hmm... it should have a 75Hz profile if it is advertised as so

but you can try creating a custom resolution for it in radeon software

gear icon -> display -> custom resolution create new+ on the bottom right of the page

Spoiler

edit: how did you connect the monitor? HDMI?

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I tried setting a custom profile but it says it is not supported.

yes via the included HDMI from the unit

ah, no other GPU to test then?

check your monitor's OSD like Tan mentioned, maybe you have to turn on OC mode or smth

Maybe monitor on-screen menu has option to enable "OC"

I tried that but the menus of the monitor is pretty dry and has only basic functions and the pseudo HDR setting.

does Changing the Cable help? I am using the HDMI cable on the box
