Temperatures on this cooler are the same as the much more expensive but loved Dark rock pro 2 or the silver arrow. Unfortunately noise is higher than average, being the same as the thermalright silver arrow (although you could of course tune it down if you don't mind temps that are a little higher). 

 

TLDR; This is a black and red silver arrow (same performance and noise) for only 27$. Another advantage is the high RAM clearance on this cooler and the black and red color scheme if that's part of your build

Meh, I don't really like the shroud or whatever you call it around the CPU cooler... Are you able to change the fan on it?

yes. I heard some people put Noctua NF-F12s on them to make them a lot quieter and perform better (and uglier)
