Weird question regarding Wraith Stealth

So my ryzen 5 3600 came with this cooler. Im using a cooler from arctic with double fans, so the stealth was just sitting in its box. I got a weird idea though. The heat sink is easily removable and after that its just a fan right? Could i mount it on top of my case, pointing down straight to the cpu cooler for more cpu cooling? I have a mesh top with plenty of holes, so its just the question of finding a fitting washer. Ill plug it on a separate header, my msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac has a few of those, and it should work right?

Obviously this isnt my main cooling. case has 3 fans in front, 1 back, its mesh in the front and on top and the cpu cooler has two fans. GPU is also triple fanned. Until i get 2 more deepcool fans, to much the cases ones, would this be possible? Would there be a problem of changing the fans speed, it not working, maybe cause some damage or is it perfectly safe?

Only if it would benefit the already existing airflow.
But if you let it blow down while the rest of the system is trying to expel to there, you might create some weird hotspots.
So go with the flow then more will be an improvement. (Altho how much differes a lot)

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Almost all the top is a mesh so i have a few choices. I was thinking either 1, to push more air to the cpu or 2 top push the air coming from the front fans faster. What do you think it would be best?

Although its only a matter of create hotspots or not? The fan should work 100% with no fear of endangering anything?

Sell Wraith for $20-40 on ebay, buy a box of appropriate fans and have more fans than just 1 busted fan and a borked heat sink.  My 2 copper coins
