I don’t know where to put this so I just put in cpu, motherboard and memory.
I was downloading the latest security for windows and when the first one downloaded it wanted a restart so I clicked restart now and it started restarting but then just stayed with the restarting screen. After 10 mins I came back to the computer and it was still restarting, I didn’t know if this was a problem or not so I just manually shut down the computer from the button on the case. Why did this happen??, is this a problem??

As long as it turns back on it's fine.
Oh! just saw the title of the thread.  Safe mode might allow you to roll back the update.  Or if you are really stuck; insert the install media, boot from it,  and roll back through that.

It must be true, I read it on the internet...

I haven’t tried to turn it back on, I am going on a trip and after the trip will start a new thread if my pc doesn’t turn back on.

https://www.techradar.com/news/windows-10-update-is-reportedly-freezing-or-crashing-some-pcs-and-even-causing-boot-loops

Looks like it is due to update bugs, like @GhostRoadieBL said.

Things to try:

-Do what @shoutingsteve said

-When the latest update bugs are over: Safe Mode, attempt another update

-Safe Mode with Command Prompt, launch an elevated Command Prompt, do:

sfc /scannow

-Safe Mode with CMD, elevated CMD, do:

chkdsk C:

(if used on the boot drive while Windows is running, it will only give you feedback on your drive's status, not correct any errors, but at least you might have some idea if there are any additional issues with your system)
