Joining Discord

Hello guys,

I'm a noob here and I'm experiencing some kind of an error (maybe?). While I try joining the discord server, after agreeing with the rules, I'm automatically redirected to my home page. And the server doesn't apper on my joined ones. Never had a problem with agreeing or authentication before joining another Discord server. Any ideas would be helpful.

To join the LTT Discord you account needs to:

- Have a phone number added

- Have 2FA turned on

- Be 5 months of age or older

 

That is what I have heard over the last little bit.

Had already registered and verified a phone number. Just turned on 2FA, still doesn't work. About the 3rd one, do you mean that the discord account must be at least 5 months old?

Yeah I've created the account a bit more than a month ago, so I guess I'll try again in 4 months or so... But where is this 5-month-rule stated exactly?

They don't have it stated anywhere, it's what I heard another user mention which they got from one of the Discord mods as a response why he couldn't join.

Apparently they have this requirement as a deterrent for raiding.

 

Official response from the mods on this forum (which there is not much overlap between the forum and Discord staff):

As I understand it, there are some quite aggressive anti-spam measures in place on the LTT discord to protect against spam and raiding, so you are probably being caught by that. I'd recommend sending a DM to Momo#1111 (case sensitive) on discord if you're having trouble, there's nothing that we can do on the forum.

But they (Discord staff team) really should make it more clear why people are unable to join and such. It seems like we get like 5 threads a week exactly like yours and there is little to no official info to give.
