gpu bottleneck ?

PLEASE HELP URGENTLY

I have a

amd a6-5400b 3.6-3.8 Ghz 2 core 2 thread 65 Watt Socket FM2 processor

16 gb dual channel ddr3 ram

and i plan on getting a gtx 1050 ti gpu

but im worried that cpu will bottleneck the gpu, will it?

i can upgrade ram till 32 gb

if its less than approx 25% its probably okay.

do not go 32 gb. I think there is a possible bottleneck but I can't say for sure

it will produce over 90 percent bottleneck for gaming at 1080p edit: https://pc-builds.com/cpu/AMD_A10-6800K_APU/0vd that looks like a cheap imporvement

i need to know for sure so that i can either go for a cpu upgrade or a gpu upgrade. For budget reason i cant go for both

Your CPU is the bottleneck. Upgrade to something with a bit for power.

then take this 32 gb memory money and spend that on a new cpu and mobo.

i did this a while ago but it shows less than 20% bottleneck of gpu with ryzen 3200u apu which is basically a downgrade from my cpu so i highly doubt it

dual core will bottleneck it easy, if you can try to get something 4core and it will be better

are you really trusting bottleneck calculator ...  ... just try to find some reviews with real numbers ...

 

2 cores for gaming are probably not enough these days ...

amd a8 that would fit in your fm2 socket is probably a better place to put money than in some ram ...

 

check for other gpu that can compare to the 1050 ti ... maybe you can find a deal by going used ...
