Flash different rom

ghiaknchi

I have galaxy s10 5g sm-g977N which is Korean, with some korean "features", but im a usa user and dont know any korean, so its more like nuisance. The usa model code are sm-g977U/T (verizon/T-mobile). Is it possible to flash it? Or will it destroy something? Because its a different model code.

I believe the US uses different bands to the rest of the world, so if you flash a North American ROM onto a Korean phone it could mean that cellular connectivity won't work

Not exactly. US phones will work around the world. Pretty much every body use the same bands across the world. The only difference is the companies that own them. The only other difference is network technology CDMA vs GSM. Europe for instance was primarily GSM, in the US we used both CDMA and GSM depending on carrier. This is becoming less of an issue because GSM and CDMA deal with lower than 4G LTE networks, any many of those networks have or are being discontinued in the US.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
