Hello! i am building a PC for 1440p 144hz Gaming, Editing, Animation, and General Use and would love some tips about if anything could bottleneck anything else

 

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT

Motherboard: Asus Tuf Gaming B550M-Plus

Memory: 16 GB HyperX Fury

PSU: Cooler Master v1000 80+ Gold Modular

Storage SSD: Sandisk SSD Plus 480GB Sata III

Storage Optical: WD Blue 3TB

GPU: RTX 3080 (not sure which brand)

Case: Zalman S4 Plus (With Window)

 

any changes you would make?

if your waiting for the 3080 then wait for 4000 series Ryzen or for RDNA 2.

i have a time limited deal for the next week where i get a huge discount so i plan to buy the RTX 3080 after, is the cpu such a big difference?

the deal ends about 2 days after it comes out
