in task manager go to the start-up tab and disable any of the tasks that you don't want running in the background

I did that already. I disabled some more too. The fact that it was at almost 60% is not a normal thing. And it keeps increasing with my normal things opened.
Having Vivaldi opened with FB, gmail and this tab + Palemoon opened with 2 tabs + STO running, my ram usage went from 27% to 47% in 5 minutes.

EDIT: I added an image of RamMap. The nonpaged Pool is ridiculously high. Not as high as it was earlier (before I rebooted when it was a 11gb though).

SOLUTION
Removed Avast, as that was leaking memory in the nonpaged pool memory big time. I also started using CleanMem (got it from MajoirGeeks).

That software is a Godsend, as Vivaldi is a Monster just like Chrome (as it's based on it). Now my ram usage is always hovering between 28-33%.

I did what's below too, but I used GrepWin after Poolmon. Determined that Avast seemed to pop up quite a bit.
For anyone else in the future using Poolmon and getting CM44 (that confirms Avast if you're running Avast). So use AvastClear and install alt AV and use CleanMem.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Ndu
Change 2 to 4

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

4. On the right-hand panel, right-click on NonPagedPoolSize and press Modify
5. Check the box next to Decimal
6. Change the Value data to 192 and click on ok button

Basically, from hexadecimal (nothing) to decimal to 192

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to 1 (instead of 0)

Disabled Windows Search (in Services)

Input in admin cmd prompt:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Disabled some tasks from running in the background

I run:

Windows 10 w/ 16gb of ram, and an RX 580. Running a Ryzen 2700x.

I legit opened my PC, and I had 20% ram usage and it climbed like effing crazy till 45%. And it keeps increasing (55% in like 5 minutes... now at 75% after 10 minutes!). I have only gaming apps opened, and I already reset the bios to the default. No idea what to do at this point, as I also disabled startup apps. All I have actively opened is Vivaldi with Plex (nothing running in it), plus a Twitch stream that ended, plus 2 other tabs including this one. And of course, Steam and Origin.

This only thing I did recently was install a few games (nothing more).

Any suggestions here? Already powercycled PC, reset bios and disabled several apps.

EDIT: Poolmon returning CM44 as culprit.
