help HELP me my storage problem

My Laptop shows 240gb in c drive, but in task manager when i checked it was 1tb. My HDD model is 1tb . When i checked in windows settings storage it shows windows 10 taking 700gb of my storage please help me . i need storage seriously pls..., i even reinstalled widows 3 times

try typing in "clean" into windows search, then select the right disk. if there is something massive there then delete it, if note you will have to click "clean up system files" then see if there are any massive files in there.

search "disk management" and see how your disk is partitioned.

Why you only partition it 240gb?

Re-installed 3 times ha, you might have windows.old folders with loads of old files then...

omg that kinda worked but not fully i can see mmy rest of 687gb partition its fully free . idk waht to do next to show up in file explorer

there were only my files i downloaded, no massive thing..

There you go, tell me how many partition there?

I assume some smaller partitions are for windows only.

You can extend the C partition, make it bigger as long as there's no partition after that.

You need to use third party partition programs, like easeus partition free.

When you open the program, right click C and click edit.

Then you slide the back position to the max allowed.

Hit apply, you will need to reboot to finish the process.

OMG thank yo so much it worked now i hav 1tb. i was struggling with 240gb from over 2 yrs Thank o so muchh....

because you cloned the drive without resizing.
