Hey everyone, I have a Corsair MP510 960GB SSD. It is advertised as 3500/3000 However, I get 3300/1000. Why is the write speed 1000 instead of 3000? Is this a general issue or only me? I also checked the health of the SSD it is %99 after 3 months of use is everything normal. Btw the 1000 write speed doesn't affect me negatively in daily usage but its 3 times lower than it should be. The SSD is about %75 Full

i would guess it ran out of space to cache large files, so the speed tanks

some SSD use their NAND as SLC to cache while transferring data, then offload it later

having it near full means less space to cache, so if your benchmark requires more space, it wont be able to perform well

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I have the CrystaliskMark size section at 1 GB. How about the health?

Alright, Will the slow write affect game loading times at all? or is that dependent on read speed?

that's more on read side, so you're fine

you really cant tell between 3000 and 1000 mbps from game load time anyways

also, dont fill your SSD over 90%, it'll make it last longer
