I have an old hp compaq slim pc, but just the internals. Will the motherboard fit in any sff case from hp/dell?

Do you have a specific model number?

Honestly its been 6 years since I've had the case, I've got no idea. I do know its the HP Compaq Slim E4300, but thats it.

Based on this, it looks like there's no chance of getting it into an ATX case without some serious modding to the back panel. It's closest to BTX, but I've never seen consumer cases for that, assuming the bolt holes line up (And don't assume that.)

Oh, I know atx is out of the question. HP has some older used slim cases that are sff(im assuming slim form factor), but they're not from the compaq line, and I was wondering if that would work.
