Could someone get me a parts list for the cheapest small factor ~$300 24/7 server-style build?
All i'm looking for is to run a audio stream off it so nothing intensive will be needed. Storage isn't also much of a concern as it's upgradable.
Onboard audio is a must.

Thanks! Will really appreciate it :)

What audio encoder are you using? How many are you wanting to encode? A cheap AMD quad core will be able to do a couple hundred 320kbps mp3 streams.

Nothing so advanced :) All i'll be doing is just streaming direct off spotify or mp3 files.

So it's pretty much just leaving say, spotify on 24/7 so that the program (talk.garena.com) picks up the audio and then streams it off to the users.

Oh in that case you should be able to use pretty much any dual/quad core CPU.
