2200g OC'd ~3.8 ghz >> 3600, 3700x, 4600, 9700k

I will probably get a 4600 after they release and when the hype settles down. If it is underwhelming, I will grab a 3000 series chip or get a 9700k when they go on sale.

B450M pro-vdh >> B550 pro vdh, B450 pro vdh max

Rocking a micro atx in an atx enclosure. It fits, but I know it won't support a 3 slot gpu so I'm upgrading to an ATX. I will grab a b550 if the Nvidia gpus require PCIe gen 4 to run. If not, I don't need the extra features and will settle with the b450.

Team Force 4x2gb 3000 mhz >> whatever 2x8 3600mhz ram is on sale

This might be a controversial decision, and if someone wants to prove me wrong, I'm all ears in hearing your opinions (that goes with all the other parts). I don't want to fill all my slots in and want to get 3600 mhz of RAM. 8gb is not cutting it for me, especially with an APU setup.

Not planning to buy anymore storage

I have a 480gb sata ssd and a 2tb hard drive, which is more than enough to satisfy my storage cravings. I don't need the extra speed from an nvme drive, or at least I don't think.

Vega 8 Integrated Graphics >> 1070

A beast 3 slot card. Already bought it and is getting shipped right now. I'm not doing any gaming over 1080p so this is more than enough.

Not upgrading Case

The case fans and the case sucks when it comes to thermals. Easy to work in though, might try to do a mesh mod for the front panel.

Corsair CXM 450 watt 2015 Bronze > Antec 750 watt gold, any other high quality PSU that is on sale

I have enough power for my CXM to run, but 450 watts seems a little close to me. Deciding to go with a 750 watt for future proofing purposes mostly. I'm going gold since the PC runs all night (giving power to Covid-19 research) and for ease of mind purposes.

Case Fans >> Any budget fans.

As pretty much everyone will say, don't buy a new CPU or GPU now. Just don't we literally just had the RTX 3000 announcement, and it looks amazing. Just wait till 3060, or Navi 2x come out, u will be glad u waited.

Used GPUs are going down in price bc the value is just so trash, but the 1070 isn't going to good anymore tbh.

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

Current setup: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG B550, 2x8GB DDR4-3200, RX 5600 XT (+120 core, +320 Mem), 1TB WD SN550, 1TB Team MP33, 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute, 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair 4000D Airflow, 650W 80+ Gold. Razer peripherals.

Also have a Alienware Alpha R1: i3-4170T, GTX 860M (≈ a 750 Ti). 2x4GB DDR3L-1600, Crucial MX500

I should have clarified this. I'm buying the parts in November/December.

The 1070 should hold me over for about a year since I'm doing mostly 1080p. When I want to transition to 1440p or the card can't run games at over 60 fps, then I would I would upgrade. I already got the GPU and might OC to get to 1070 ti levels of performance since it is a beefy card once I get better system cooling.
