Hi I tried in another pc and I have the same problem.

Did you try resetting your CMOS? Refer to your motherboard manual for instructions in doing this.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi today i received the video card from the retailer. After I played Crysis aprox. 2 hour i had the same message DVI NO SIGNAL.Earlier this week the people from the service they called me and said that they have tested the card on 2 different PCs with 2 different PSUs and everything was OK.So I wondered if they say that the card is ok and the problem is on my PC then what is the problem?

This happens to me on my sapphire 7970. I usually just use hdmi but i need to then use dvi to vga converter to connect to my other monitor. The gpu then boots with the vga and disconnects when the logon screen appears. What you should do is boot up and log in with a different type of display cable and then when you have logged on plug the dvi cable back in and then go on windows screen resolution page and click detect and it should automatically go onto the dvi for primary display or you may have to chose it yourself. Then disconnect the other display cable and run as normal. Repeat when you reboot.

Hi today i tested the video card on a friend's computer and look what happened.I should mention that I used a DVI-VGA adapter.

Return the card to your retailer as soon as possible, it's defective.

I sent the card to the retailer for service and they told me they tested the board three days continuously + 3 hour FurMark and everything was ok and send the card back to me.

I didn't mean RMA the card, I meant you just return it to the place you bought it from & get your money back, RMA's can get complicated.
