Hello. My Samsung  1 TB Evo Plus Temps are way to high. My computer shutoff and when I rebooted and looked at Hardware Info64, the temps are crazy. This hasn't happened before and I was using the 970 for 4 months. When I mounted the GPU vertical (which was about a month), the temps were still good until this day. I was watching YouTube and loaded up Valorant, which I did many times before.

My guess would be the heat from the GPU is blowing up against the drive. Is the drive equipped with an heatsink?

No. But I had it in this orientation for about a month and had no trouble before.

Vertical mounting with a Air cooled gpu, Disgusting >:( How dare you! /s

Just make sure it has some sort of airflow, Trying a few different fan profiles out and seeing what works best should be something you try.

Well it's looks like it's in a Hotspot. Dunno why it started happening now. You could try mounting a heatsink on it to see if it in inproves.
