Hello, so i have a system with a i3-4170 and my gtx 1050 just died what best gpu can i pair with that cpu

i'd say another 1050, or 1650 super if you're playing more graphically demanding games on 1080p

 

what resolution? and make sure the card didnt die because of a bad PSU, or you'll kill another one

Got a brand new psu not the cause. 1080p 60hz. Im watchin the used market here in lithuania i can get a gtx 960 maybe

yea it should be a good option as well

 

new psu =/= good psu btw, but if you're sure then ok

Cooler master elite v3 500w just got it yesterday and then my gpu died i think bacause of overheatin it smells like burnt plastic and has alot of dust on it never changed thermalpaste aswell

sounds like too much of a coincidence if you ask me

 

according to this list, your PSU belongs in Tier E, which is labelled

dust wont kill a card, a gpu will throttle to protect itself in most cases, unless you're unlucky

but it definitely wont produce a burnt plastic smell.
