Hey I recently switched my watercooler and in the process one of the ram sticks was half way unplugged and I started the computer without realizing.

It started with a black screen and not even posting, so I check that the ram was not broken by switching them 1 by 1 and both are working.

Thinking the slot on the motherboard was shorted and dead I bought a new mobo, still won't boot with anything in slot 1, it's a mITX so running only 1 stick means single channel performance...

Any one got any ideas or am I just gonna have to buy a new cpu aswell? Thanks in advance!
