I never got into the bad company series. The only ones I played were 1942, BF2, 2142, BF3, and BF4. BF2 being the best one of course.

I would definitely buy it if a new BC came out though. What are the main differences in that series compared to the main line?

They had GREAT campaign modes, the story was awesome. But saying that those are the best ones is really biased if you haven't played BC, I've played every BF and I can safely say that BC was the BEST.

I liked the feel and graphics style of the Bad Company series. (Even if they weren't exactly realistic). It's just something you'll have to play to see, I guess.  It generally has larger, outdoor maps compared to the main series, so it kind of lean towards a more passive play style. Also, I prefer that in Bad Company, you need 5-7 shots for a kill, as opposed to Battlefield 3 and 4, for example, where it's 4-5 most of the time.

And that sound... just shoot any unsilenced weapon in an open area, and you'll find it to be the most delicious sound you'll hear in a shooter. (Again, even if it might be unrealistic)

Well, BC was mainly a console thing. But it was and is still the best BF for me. It was such a good experience that whenever I played the 2nd video I almost cried.....
