So i have a notebook Samsung Chronos Series 7, a while ago my wife tripped on the wire when it was charging, the port and charger tip broke so i had the bad idea to use it like it is for quite a while and when i was trying to charge a sparkle showed. Well i bought a alternative one to test it quick , and the problem is this.

I booted and it was having some troubles. My windows was on a separate partition and i just formatted it, installed a windows 10 on it and when i installed the Radeon drives it crashed, only booting up again with the restore before i installed the drivers.

I am almost 100% sure that i may fried my graphics card but this happened quite a while ago, like an year or more. But i remember that i used imagex and an image i saved to restore it and it worked somehow and just now i have some time to revive this notebook.

So here is finally my question, is there a Linux tool for me to test all the hardware just to check? I remember to use everest a lot on windows back in the day just to check this kind of things, but i have ubuntu from USB and i think it would be easier using linux to test this, if there is an other version of linux to use for this i will gladly accept recommendations too.
