Bios version 1006 (current)

PC has been running for 6 months with NP. 4 days ago I came home and tried to turn on my PC but I did not see the Republic of Gamers logo on the display and I can not access the BIOS.

All the lighted fans were running and the lighted keyboard and mouse were active. Second power up still no display.Third power up and it was ok so I did the following troubleshooting steps:

1. removed the i9 and installed the old i7 cpu (works)

1. Tested 1 mem stick at a time  (works)

2. Removed the graphics card and used the onboard (works)

3. Moved the graphics card to slot 2 (works)

4. Removed the cmos battery (works)

5. Reinstalled the 2 mem sticks, moved the graphics card to slot 1 and reinstalled the i9  (works)

Problem only shows it's self when the PC is off for more than 4 hours. Trying one more test to see if the MB is defective and that is to turn it off but keeping the power plug installed. All help is appreciated.

That was my next step. Left the pc plugged in all night and no issues starting it up. Battery voltage looked good but like many car batteries it may not have the balls to do it's job. My pc is up every day for about 3-4 hours and on the weekends up to 6 so the battery was not high on my list but I will give it a try. Better a 3 dollar battery then a 300 dollar motherboard. Thanks for the help.
