HD 7770 How far can I push it?

Just bought an aftermarket cooler for it. The temps are lower than expected.

Original cooler: 1200 MHz core @ 1.214 v - afterburner failing in less than 3 min (temps did not stop rising). Now...45 degreeds in 15 deg ambient.

The question is:

will the VRM fail at 1.25v? My card doesn,t have a VRM heatsinc by default and installing those that came with aftermarket cooler is not possible. (capacitors all over the place, not enough room). I did however glued the memory heatsincs.

with Arctic Cooling S1 plus and turbo module, moded by adding a second high performance pwm fan along with the turbo fan thingie, both controlled by the video card, just like the original cooler was.

Spellings mistakes, sorry, was mobile and could not edit.

As I said: Failed furmark and capacitors all over the place- furmark test failed with the stock cooler and cannot install vrm heatsincs because of other components. (like caps and chokes)

Ok thats lulz. What made you go on an extreme overclocking journey? Light blue caps ( standard for low end msi products) , wonder what that means.... :P
