CPU or Motherboard problem???

TrickEgo

Hello,

I pulled out my AIO to switch the orientation of the cooler and when that happened the CPU came off with it. I noticed that one of the pins where bent and i just adjusted it forward a little. Put everything back and now i cant get anything to boot. I have an asus mother x570 strix rog and a 3900x ryzen. What do i do?

try clearing CMOS

if that doesnt help, try reseating it

for future reference:

turn on the PC to warm up the paste so it gets runnier (and then turn it off), twist and tilt the cooler gently, to unstuck the CPU, before pulling up

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

you remove the small silver colored round battery. Can be a bit tricky at first. But just remove it and reseat it.
