Steam client not working

Okay so my steam is fully broken can't update games gives a error all friends are playing online and game image is N/A and when I try to play games that doesn't need updates either the game doesn't work or VAC can't be reached

Maybe uninstall steam and reinstall it again? That usually helps for weird errors like you're having.

Check if you have a proxy set in Windows, it can cause that problem (and proxy can be set by a malware).
