Hi, I am wondering  what the best solution would be for my situation:

I need a pc running Windows 10 Pro continuously for network and security management + running equipment that doesn't work with Windows in VM.

I also need a second PC/VM running Windows. Both versions of Windows need to be accessible at the same time with their own monitors, keyboards, mice and webcams.

My question one big PC+VM or two separate PCs? Any tips?

What is this equipment that doesn't work with Windows in a VM? Hardware pass-through might make it happen.

If these systems are going to act as servers and don't need massive CPU time I'd try virtualizing it with a hypervisor like Proxmox.

The equipment is a security card writer. It could probably work on a VM, but the company won't install it or support it.

One will act as a semi-server, but both will be used for accounting and other office work.

If this is the case including the other peripherals you've mentioned 2 separate computers sounds the better route of the two.
