GPU Blocking Drive Bays

Does this mean that I can't install a hard drive alongside my SSD? Is there a way to find out if some of the bays will still be usable?

you shouldnt have any problems installing extra drives, the drive bays mentioned are optional.

 

the p400a already has 2 drive bays at the bottom of the case

There is space for 2 3.5in drives under the shroud. You will also likely be able to fit one or two drives in the main section above or below the GPU, you just wont be able to use all 4 in that area.

So just to confirm, I'll have no issues installing a storage hard drive into the system with the video card listed?

Correct, even if for some reason you can't use any of the 4 main bays, you will still have the 2 under the PSU shroud.

 

Diagram came straight from Phanteks' website.

 

Pro tip, install the PSU before the hard drives if you use the bays under the shroud. this one looks fine but some cases can be a bit tight under there.
