What 2070 super to get?

Got the gigabyte white one to go along with my pc, but the damn thing has massive coil whine, fan noise, stupid high temps, etc. So I am returning it.

 

What do I replace it with?

 

The asus strix?

 

Msi gaming trio

 

or evga ftw gaming

Can you wait a few weeks? 3000 series should be announced beginning of September and available for purchase a few weeks after that.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

While I'd agree wait is best, unless you have a suitable placeholder you may have to buy now.

 

EVGA holds value better than the others, so if you are considering replacing later to sell, I'd go that route.

Pricing for the next gen is currently unknown. I’m hoping they will be the same price as the 2000 series is now but I’ve seen some people on this forum estimate that the price will be up to 20% higher.

id just be returning to amazon, I can initiate a return, get the money back, keep this gpu for 30 days then send it back
