No audio devices available

Rylyguy

I just turned on my pc and no audio devices pop up. Such as my headset or monitor. When I click on the sound menu it opens the troubleshooter and says it can’t fix the problem. I opened device manager and there are no drivers for audio installed. I tried installing the drivers and it just shows the devices are unplugged. I even reinstalled my gpu driver because the NVIDIA audio driver isn’t installed. I then did a system restore to a point I know the drivers were installed and the audio worked but it did t fix it. I really need to fix this. Any help is great. TIA

Both my monitor’s built in speakers and my headset. I tried and windows just uninstalls them.

https://www.realtek.cz/download-ALC887-sound-driver-for-Windows10-64bit.html

download and install the drivers, next you will need to plug the speaker to the audio jack on the back.

make sure you select realtek high defenition audio on your sound output.
