So about 3 years back I got a at-2020 mic. Since I received the mic it has never worked. I bought a newgear power supply that was 48v and it always had a buzzing so I bought a focusrite Scarlett solo which is a studio grade interface. The scarlet is plugged in to a usb 3.1 and with the same cord it came with but it still had the buzzing I have replaced the cable and the audio card and plugged it in to my friend pc but it still buzzes. My only option I have it to buy a new one or spend 30 dollars on an estimate price before getting it repaired. Does anyone have any solution or ideas on what could be causing this

And have you tried changing XLR cables? Is the cable coiled, tangled or sitting across other cables in any way, as XLR cables are prone to interference.

This, try changing cables, if there's still a lot of buzzing you've got a bung mic
