Hello everyone.  I am writing this post to pose a question.  A few months ago, I have purchased a Shure SM-58.  One is pictured below. 

Since these are legendary microphones, as Freddie Mercury and lots of other rock singers have used them, I found a website that sells colorized versions, an example of what they can do is also pictured below.

Is there any way, though, to colorize/customize my microphone that I have without just purchasing a new one?  Also, not breaking the bank with this project would be amazing.

I spent hours removing the paint on my 57, looks much better.
Anyways, of course you can paint it, just remove the grille (take out the foam before you paint) and mask off the body
