i want to start off by saying that i have posted multiple threads on this

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

So, me and my friends get together alot. My friend has a 2000$ alienware with the following specs: 12gb of ram

sandy bridge mobile i7 (dont know the exact product #)

                                                                                                                                                mobile 660 2gb video card

                                                                                                                                                750gb 7200rpm hard drive

                                                                                                                                                17inch 1080p screen

so this whole build was to one up his alienware (sounds heartless right  ;) )

i might go with this :) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/36pLJ

if you plan to do any overclocking and/or heavy gaming, i would definetly go with a better cpu cooler.. i would go with something from Noctua because they have a few lop profile cpu coolers that are very good..

plus, i would get a better psu if you plan to overclock and/or upgrade your gpu at all in the future, you might be pushing it a bit even with that gpu, i would get atleast a 600w.. better safe than sorry
