Laptop cooling fan

hi guys!


 


Im using an Acer Aspire with the following specs:


 


CPU: Intel Core i7 2.2 GhZ


RAM: 4 GB


SSD: Kingston 60 GB


G. Card: Nvidia Ge Force 550 GT - 2GB Cuba


OS: Windows 8.1, 64Bit


 


im already using a base fan under my laptop but im thinking of to buy an extra fan like this: click here whats your opinion about those fans are they good enough to see the difference?

Am I right in think that attaches to the laptop exhaust?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - CPU Cooler: Deepcool Castle 240EX - Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC

RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RBG 3200MHz - GPU: MSI RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO

This could make a difference, but it would probably just end up being a blockage to any air leaving the fan vents (assuming I understand its use correctly). It appears to run on USB power, so would be slow and not all that "strong". If your temps are bad I would suggest opening the back and removing some of the dust from the current cooler (assuming you are comfortable doing this and haven't already), this helped my old laptop a quite a bit.

well already did that, and im doing this every month to my laptop.. any other opinion?

Well, I'm going to buy one, just out of sheer interest, so I'll tell you in a few days when it arrives
