hi, i have finaly decided to dust off my pc and start gaming on it again

CPU: R5 1600

GPU GTX 1060 6GB

RAM: 16GB

my question is my gpu usage is around 94%-96% and cpu is only at 50ish i thought when gaming the gpu was meant to max out to get the most proformance out of it.

how do i get my gpu to push that bit harder or is it bottle necking?

also temps when gaming are gpu: 70C and CPU 54C

thank you

yes the gpu is bottlecking. you can lower settings to make the bottleneck smaller

Thank you.  What would normally be the best place to start. Nvidias software set the settings for me

lower the settings in game. bottlenecking isn't any bad thought it just means that wiht that cpu you can  get better gpu than you have right now.

Thank you for your help

If you can afford a 1080 Ti, then 2000-series isn't out of your budget. You can get anything except maybe a 2080 Ti, for less. Even used, 1080 Ti goes for like $750.
