why not try it if you hvae speicifc software?

 

Normally performnace is pretty simmilar between linux and windows

Well, AFAIK CUDA runs better on Linux than it does on Windows.

 

Anyway, working just fine for me for the past couple years (mostly using it with Tensorflow).
