it's a new corsair vengeance lpx 3600mhz cl18 2x8 running with a ryzen 3200g on a gigabyte b450m s2h gigabyte board

xmp is enabled on preset and working at advertised values tried removing battery and restoring bios default. then enabling xmp again

still getting these errors. is this a faulty ram kit? with windows memory diagnosing software got no errors.

Disable xmp and check if errors occur.

Also make sure they're in slot 2 and 4 and check.

You could also try using OCCT's memory stress test and check if errors occur.

i'll try other software as well. ram is working in dual channel as mobo has only 2 ram slots. aloso i'm curious what acutally caused the bluescreen

could be ram, 3600 on zen+'s imc is quite a tough thing to achieve.

so disable xmp/docp and then test stability.

i've disabled xmp and no errors anymore in occt and prime95

now the question is, faulty ram kit not running as advised, or 3200g/mobo can't handle the ram xmp preset settings eventho it works partially in games

What other steps have you tried to cure the problem?

Changing timings?  Voltages?  Update BIOS?  RAM installed in correct slots?

One thing about DOCP is that it doesn't set all the timings in the XMP.  So your board is generating those values when left on Auto and they may be lower than what is in the XMP.  So that might be something you can fix with a little bit more DRAM voltage or by manually setting the other values being left on Auto with DOCP.

no DOCP option just XMP profile 1 . i run latest bios. tried changed timing but no post.

Most likely the imc not being capable.

Set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1.35 and. Then set it to 2933 with xmp/docp and then if it's stable go for 3200 and then 3600 with xmp/docp with the values said above.

If you want to check to see if it's setting all the timings in the XMP then you can download Thaiphoon Burner to see what all the timings are and then Ryzen Timing Checker to see what your timings are once in Windows.

Once you've installed Thaiphoon Burner you click on Read and then on Report.  It will be at the bottom of that report.

dunno if i should trust taiphoon on this one, as it reports samsung b-die and some reports say that's false and it's actually a samsung c-die. anyways perhaps this ram kit is more optimized for intel CPU's , also read alot of complaints about vengeance lpx not playing well with ryzen cpu's.

You're not checking die type.  You're checking the XMP timings.
