Aio front placement

Tubes down on the radiator so that the air in the loop will not circulate.

Hello.

I’ll put 2 pictures here about aio placements and I was wondering which is more efficient. I personally would like to install it as in the first picture because I can see my Rgb fans then. And I was wondering do I have to change some of my fans positioning for it to be somewhat efficient.

They look like they’re the same to me.  The only difference is the orientation of the pump, and thus the lit logo and where the hoses are.  I don’t think the hose locations are going to have a tremendous effect one way or the other.  What might make a difference is which way the fans are blowing.  Generally one wants to draw air through some sort of filter to keep dust out.  If top and rear are air in and front is air out one would want a top and back filter.  These can be purchased as magnetic aftermarket parts.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

This is a push vs pull question. In terms of airflow they are usually comparable and so you are free to pick the one you like (i.e. option 1). Fans are normally a bit louder in the pull configuration, but if you think the noise is bearable, the option 1 is fine.

Two fans facing in two fans facing out is preferred. The front two facing in would be standard because the front radiator generally has the best filtration.  Whether that is true in this case I can’t tell.  It could be done the other way instead but that means to have filtration a rear magnetic filter woul need to be purchased to go on the rear exaust fan and possibly the top as well if it has no filter. Is the problem that because of the rgb you want a particular fan side to always be facing all in or always be facing all out? That will work more poorly.  All out would be marginally less bad than all in though it would mean that dust will build up slowly on the inside of whatever filters Remain  on the machine. This case is unusual in that it seems to have quite restricted front air intake.  I’m assuming there is some sort of side or bottom vent for case front air.  If there is no vent at all (which seems unlikely but is not impossible) the rear and top vents would want  to have air facing out. I’m hampered because I can’t see the bottom or back of the case.  Also which way the fans are blowing defines which kinds of rgb is showing and I can’t tell which way that is because I’m not familiar with the fan type.

 

No case model or fan model was mentioned so guesses have to be made.  It’s suboptimal.
