M.2 sad isn't showing up in win10 or bios.

I got a new m.2 ( https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07JLLLWKR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IsymFb2X4JDFM ) but it won't show up at all. I have a gigabyte ga-a320m-s2h Mobo. I'm not a tech guy I don't really understand how to operate the bios stuff or anything. Can someone tell me what is going on with my PC??

Do note, whenever you do something like this Please look at a guide or something before attempting to do it yourself as it makes it a lot easier.

 

Are you trying to just add this as a storage drive?

 

Hit your Windows key and Type Disk Management. See if you have an Unallocated Device for 240GB ish. See if it shows up.

There may be an option to set it to SATA instead of pcie in the bios

When I do that it only shows my original sad and not the m.2. bios doesn't detect the m.2 either

Guessing you don't have an Athlon.

Sorry, ignore my previous post. I misread the sentence in the manual about M.2 SATA support. Your board has both SATA and NVMe support with Ryzen, so there's no issue there.

 

What does it say in your BIOS in Chipset -> APU SATA Port Enable and APU SATA Port 0? If it says Enabled and [Not Installed], try reseating the drive.

That doesn't appear as an option for me.
