Gaming/Office Chair Reccomendations for Wife

Hey hivemind, I need some recommendations for a chair for my wife.

 

She's a writer so spends long hours sitting down at a desk each day, and so far she's just been using a lightly padded folding metal chair. The problem is that she doesn't like the chairs that are mostly black (i.e. black/red, black/green, black/yellow, etc.) which eliminates like 90% of these chairs for her. On the other end of the spectrum though are all those hot pink/rabbit themed kawaii chairs (you all know which ones I mean) that she's also not a fan of. So I'm trying to find chairs that are lighter colors without being overly pink. Whites and pastels are all fine, as are metallic colors. If there aren't really any options out there that won't break the bank, are there some decent chairs that I could get and then buy a cover to put over it? 

 

Tldr; I need to find some chairs that aren't mostly black nor mostly pink for my wife that aren't super expensive.

Go to an office supply store and have her sit in some. That’s pretty much the best way to tell. I think mine is a Lane branded chair, they are pretty big in office chairs. But sitting in them will be the best way to tell.

Personally a fan of the vertagear chairs, but the only sure fire way to get her a good chair is to take her to an office supply store to try out chairs, or the offices of gaming chair companies to try them, as their are different firmness levels, and can extremely change the comfort of a chair based from person to person.

Chairs have an hour or "seat time" rating. If she's at the computer most of the day, you want to look for one rated for 8-10 hours. Gaming chairs are almost universally unergonomic garbage, so you should avoid those for real work.
