How hard of a bottleneck will this be

Katepues

Just wondering how big this bottleneck will be, and will i still be able to play some games and use adobe programs.

I am using the stock cooler and i have a 1tb ssd.

I will ofcourse upgrade the gpu, but you know.. money.

unless you need 24 threads and a ton of pcie lanes but little gpu processing power, this is a strange build but could be suited for certain specific workloads. a 1650 super would use the same wattage and be significantly more powerful. for gaming, the 960 would be a substantial bottleneck; your performance would likely be the same with a 3900x or a 3100, possibly even less. dropping the cpu+mobo for a much cheaper setup to invest in a better gpu would be wise if you plan on playing a lot of games. but will a 3600 with less pcie lanes from the chipset fulfill your other needs?

as for components, id personally recommend against the CM MWE gold as their customer support is terrible, so if it dies you'll have an awful time. corsair LPX is more expensive than other similar ram, and not having an ssd in 2020 is inadvisable at best. low airflow case aint great either but you likely wont need any fancy airflow case, if you prefer the looks of the h510 thats fine.

topics i need help on:
