Best Budget CPU at the 120-150 US range? trying to fight out that and a matx motherboard for 250 or so

3300x or a 1600af. 

The 3300x is better in almost every scenario unless the workload is purely multi threaded.

Wait so 250 dollars for the board? Why is the budget for the board way more than the cpu's budget lol?

both for 250, 3300 is no where to be found in here atm so that is out of the equation

Ah, well either a 3100/3300x If the 3300x isn't available, the 3100 will do the job. And so will the 1600 af if you fine one.

As for the board. 

B450 pro 4m, mortar max should do the job.

I just call the shop they have 3100 and 3200g and 3400g, I may just pick up a B450 board with that
