I’m going to get straight to the point; one of my memory channels doesn’t seem to work and in the BIOS it’s only showing 16GB instead of 32GB. I know the memory module is working as I’ve been using it in single channel mode since I built this machine a couple of months ago, but I recently thought I’d give it another shot and try to get duel channel working by posting on here and seeing if anyone with more knowledge can help. Cheers.

Clear the cmos and try the both stick in all slots.

Also why is dram voltage set to 1.5? That's insanely high even for b die.

The speeds are set on auto with the AI tweaker in the BIOS, I can try and change it so it’s a lower voltage, but I’m not sure what would be good for it?

try 1.35 and try every stick in every slot.

you could also try re seating the cpu. (though doubt will fix it).

YESSsSs it Worked. Tried the two opposite slots and it worked, I can’t believe it was that simple. I’m dumb. Thanks mate.

Well that still doesn't fix the whole problem.

1.5 is insanely high.

And try slot 2 and 4 again with both stick. If they didn't boot in that slot. The board still has a dead dimm.

I looked into the BIOS and found where I could change the voltage, but it was stuck on auto and I couldn’t change it. So I’m stuck on that and with slot 2 and 4, it’ll boot to windows but slot 2 will not light up or even show in the BIOS. So I’m guessing it is a dead DIMM slot.

does it boot when you place a single stick in slot 2?

also clear the cmos and get rid of xmp/docp and check the voltage. also check cpu z and check the spd profiles and what voltage this ram should be running at when xmp/docp is enabled.

It doesn’t boot with a single stick in dimm slot 2 and I looked for XMP and found that the AI overclock tuner was set to auto, so I decided to change it to XMP 1 and it brought the voltage down to 1.36 volts.

yea. that's more reasonable.

if both don't boot in that dimm, seems like a dead slot, you could rma it if possible.

Yeah I’ll probably try and rma it, not sure if they need the original packaging or not but we’ll see. Thanks again for ya help, much appreciated.
