Hi there guys! I was wondering if you could help me build a  new PC :). As for why im upgrading,well...my current PC is kinda old....
Current PC:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @2.3GHz

RAM: Just an ordinary 2GB RAM

Motherboard: Asus P5KPL-AM SE

Video Card: Inno3D GT 630

HDD: Seagate 250GB

Well...there you have it...the case and the psu are generic so it not worth mentioning anymore xD. So..yeah,my PC is kinda old and it can't handle most of the games I throw at it anymore like: Crysis 3, Far cry 3 and etc... xD. So yeah! I live in the Philippines and right now...uhm...$1 is = PHP 41.13. So my aim is to play these High Def games on high or ultra settings i guess..and also I want it to last long too :). If ever it needs to be upgrades...probably minor things only like HDD or RAM or something that isn't that big xD.

Budget: PHP40,000 thats around $1000

I plan to buy next week, before May 8 so yeah xD. I already have a Gaming PC build in mind XD

Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 - PHP 7700

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 Gaming - PHP 7650

Video Card: MSI GTX 660Ti Power Edition/OC - PHP 15490

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB - PHP 2600

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB - PHP 2790

Power Suppy: Corsair CX600M - PHP 3580

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 (2 tone editon) - PHP 4450

Total of: 44,230

I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions or advises that could help me build a new Gaming PC with that budget xD. Also if you guys are gonna suggest or advise something, please tell me the reason so that I may learn from it and also I can use it in the future :). Thank you :).

(PS: I like the case very much...so...as much as possible,i don't want to change it xD)

I think it looks like a good build. If you want to play future games on high/ultra settings you might wanna consider investing in an 670. Then you could upgrade to 670 SLI later. The 670 is the best bang-for-the-buck card from nVidia right now. Otherwise you would be just fine. You'll notice a incredible difference from your old setup!

Current build: Antec P180, Asus P8Z68 Pro, Intel i5-2500k, Asus GTX 570 2GB, Patriot 16GB 1600MHz, Corsair HX 650W.

I always stick to either EVGA or Asus, I've got good experience with both brands. I got my EVGA 670 2GB FTW for about 470USD, which is quite reasonable if you ask me. If you can afford it, get one. But if it really breaks the bank for you the 660ti would serve you just fine.

The only things I would recommend are upgrading to a 3570k and adding a SSD. You could also wait for Haswell and get that. SSD will improve boot times significantly and load times in games noticeably.

seems like a pretty good build overall, dont fret over the 670 as much if you overclock your 660ti then it comes pretty near a 670 stock. again ssd's are really nice but not necessary you can easily get one later and migrate your OS and some games whenever you want (samsungs migrating tools are said to be really good!).

when is haswell supposed to be released anyways?

Try to get the i5-3570k ,, that's all ,, others are fine

But if I get that,it'll be out of my budget :(

What do you think is better for me to buy? A PC or a new Camera. I have a HP ProBook 4530s notebook and a 4 year old point-and-shoot.

I think your in the wrong topic xD

i would get a cheaper motherboard, not a z77 one as you don't have an unlocked chip and a smaller psu, save money, also a seagate hdd, it's waay more silent, and get a 60 gb ssd with the money you saved.

Codename: HighFlyer, specs:  CPU: i5 2500k cooled by a H70ish(2 rad)   Mobo: MSI MPower Z77   GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 1150 MHZ core, 3150 memory both   RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16G @1600mhz   SSD: ADATA Premier Pro sx900 / HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB/Samsung 1TB   Power supply: Corsair RM650 80+ Gold   Case Corsair Carbide 500R   5.4 ghz achieved on the good old 2500k, may it rest in peace.
