I was stress testing my gpu and as soon as test reached 100% it just blackscreened for like a minute so i had to close the test. is something wrong with my gpu or something?

RTX 2080S stock speeds latest driver

Ryzen 5 3600 @4.2GHZ

16GB ram ddr4 3000mhz

windows 10 pro v.1909

Furmark is a literal torture test of the GPU that will stress it to the absolute limt that's been known to slay hardware before.
I've seen it before - Your card got too hot and "Blacked out".

 

Even if throttling does take place there are other things to consider including if the OP has raised or disabled such limits via OC'ing software that could possibly affect if and when it happens.

I can't answer that since I"m not the OP here.

 

Best thing regarding Furmark is to not use it, find something else to stress the card with.

As @Beerzerker stated above Furmark is a GPU killer. I'd recommend you use Heaven benchmark instead.
